Christmas HamperBeechwood Fine Foods of Tring, the farm shop in town will be giving away a Christmas Hamper to one lucky customer later this month. At the same time, Mayor Roxanne Ransley will receive a donation for her chosen charities in thanks for drawing the winning ticket.

We are pleased to tell you that on behalf of Tring’s Justice and Peace group we are selling tickets for the Tring Community Christmas Concert which is being held at the Victoria Hall in Tring, on Sat 7th Dec at 7.30pm.  Tickets are £3.50 each.

Sarah Murray, proprietor of Beechwood Fine Foods in Tring, Hertfordshire, has recently received three Gold awards at the Guild of Fine Foods ‘Great Taste Awards 2013’.  The Guild is nationally recognised for promoting excellence in speciality foods in the independent retail sector.

As Sarah explained, “The Gold Awards are rated 1, 2 or 3 stars and 1 star products are described as ‘perfect’, 2 stars are ‘faultless’ and three stars ‘wow you must taste this product’!”  50 days of judging 9,700 food and drink products from 2,100 producers saw these fabulous awards for Sarah’s own-brand jams, preserves and chutneys:

Over the weekend of Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 March, Beechwood Fine Foods, the café deli in the market town of Tring in Hertfordshire, will join many other businesses in support of Fairtrade Fortnight. For every Fairtrade drink bought over the weekend, owners Toby and Sarah Murray, will donate 25p to the Fairtrade Foundation. read more »
