Welcome to Beechwood Fine Foods

Coronavirus – Update

Following on from the Government announcement to allow hospitality businesses to re-open from the 4th July with indoor seating, Sarah and I have reviewed the situation in relation to Beechwoods and we have listened to the opinions of a number of regular and supportive customers.  In view of the practical arrangements relating to social distancing and the provision of indoor seating area and in tune with our customers’ positive comments about ‘one customer at a time’ shopping, resulting in a safe and calm environment we have taken the decision for the immediate future to continue with retail and take away only.

The Government have extended the provisions for shielding to the end of July and so we will continue to offer a delivery service in Tring and the immediate locality, as well as taking phone orders for collections of our wide range of fresh produce, including daily deliveries of bread, eggs, fruit and veg and cheese as well as long life produce, such as Sarah’s Jams, preserves and chutneys or Ashridge honey. For the time being our opening hours remain unchanged as follows;

  • Monday to Friday 8am to 3pm
  • Saturday 8.30am to 3pm
  • Sunday 10.30am to 12.30pm

Thank you all for your continuing support.

Fresh, British and locally sourced

Sarah and I opened the doors to Beechwood Fine foods in 2010 in the style of a farm shop, selling and serving only the best British and locally sourced produce. Located in the heart of the traditional Chilterns market town of Tring on the Bucks/Herts border we stock only British fruit and veg, in season much of this is hand-picked in Ivinghoe, locally baked breads, cured meats and hams as well as the widest range of British cheeses in the locality. Sarah also produces an award winning range of jams, preserves and chutneys and we love to support other great local producers such as Kiwichik Chocolates, Chiltern Charcuterie, Jilly’s Biscuits, Ashridge Honey and so many more too.

Award Winning Farm Shop in Town

We are rated as 5 out of 5 by the Food Standards Authority so you can be assured of quality and freshness all the time and we have received many other awards, including Commended in Deli of the Year, 4 Gold Star awards for Sarah’s homemade preserves and rated as Excellent by Trip Advisor reviews; so whether you are re-stocking your cupboards, planning a dinner party or popping out to meet friends for a bite to eat then we have a range of mouth-watering products not generally found in the supermarkets to tempt you.

We are absolutely delighted to have been chosen as Dacorum Retail Business Hero 2018.

Dacorum BC say of the Awards: “In our business community, there are often unsung heroes who go above and beyond in giving back to the borough. Through these awards we want to recognise businesses that really make a difference and have a positive impact on the lives of others – shaping the future of economic growth in Dacorum”. This award is an enormous pat on the back for doing things that we would do anyway and for this to be recognised and noticed is amazing!
